How we Operate
We provide our service in hospitals, nursing homes and at our Kenilworth practice. We are also able to visit you at home. You do not need to be referred by a doctor or specialist, as physiotherapists are first line medical practitioners.
Our practice is cash based.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and all retail cards from the Edcon group (Edgars, Boardman, Jet, CNA etc.). This enables us to keep our costs at medical aid rates.
Clients are requested to manage their medical aids directly.

Practice Appointment Requirements:
Your first appointment:
- Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment in order to complete the necessary paperwork.
- Bring any reports, x-rays etc., which may be relevant.
- Bring your ID number and medical aid details
- Wear clothing that is appropriate for your physiotherapist to analyse your movement. Shorts or a track-suit and T shirt are recommended.
- Your assessment by your physiotherapist, often in conjunction with Terry Douglas, will typically include assessment of:
- Your muscular condition
- Your joint movements
- Postural analysis
- Balance and walking
- Any impairments and disabilities
- Degree of personal independence in daily activities
- Your physiotherapist will provide you with a plan of treatment suitable to your unique situation. Specific areas requiring focus will be identified. You will be actively involved in this process
